Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information BINA collects when you use the official website of the artist BINA (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who We Are BINA (“BINA”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a business based in the United Kingdom, is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy. BINA is signed to Platoon. You can contact us using the details in section 12.

2. Information We Collect • Mailing list sign-ups: your name, email address, country, date of birth and, optionally, your phone number. • RAGER sign-ups: your name and email address. • Site analytics: page-view and click activity, along with a random visitor identifier stored in your browser. This information is collected using Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) tools, and may include basic technical information such as your browser type, device type and approximate location. • Communications: if you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

3. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: • send you emails about tours, merchandise drops, releases and early access (with your consent); • manage your RAGER access to the Archive and the Rage Room; • confirm that you meet any age requirements for the Site, content or events; • understand how the Site is used so that we can improve it; • protect the Site against misuse, fraud and security threats; and • comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Legal Bases for Processing Under UK data protection law, we rely on the following legal bases: • Consent, for marketing emails and for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time. • Contract, to provide you with RAGER access once you have signed up. • Legitimate interests, to keep the Site secure, to confirm age requirements and to understand and improve how the Site is used. • Legal obligation, where we are required by law to keep or disclose information.

5. Consent and Age You choose whether to receive marketing emails when you sign up, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You must be at least 14 years old to use the Site. Your date of birth is collected to confirm that you meet this and any other age requirements for content or events. The Site is not directed at children under 14, and if we learn that we have collected information from someone under that age without proper authorisation, we will delete it.

6. Who We Share Your Information With We share personal information only where necessary and with: • Service providers that help us run the Site and our communications, such as our email service, website hosting and analytics providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us. • Google and Meta (Facebook), through the analytics tools used on the Site. They may also use this information for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. • Shopify, which handles purchases from our online store under its own privacy policy. We do not control the information collected during those purchases. • Platoon, the company BINA is signed to. Platoon may use your information to connect with you about BINA’s work beyond this Site, including through social media and customer relationship management (CRM) tools. • Authorities and advisers, where required by law or to protect our rights, and any successor to our business in the event of a sale or reorganisation.

7. International Transfers Some of our providers process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK–US data bridge.

8. Cookies and Local Storage The Site stores a random visitor ID, a session ID and your unlocked-page status in your browser so that it remembers you between visits. These identifiers contain no personal information. Google Analytics and Meta may also set their own cookies or similar identifiers to measure Site usage and advertising. Where UK law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential analytics and advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also clear these identifiers through your browser settings, although you may then need to unlock members-only pages again.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information • Mailing list and RAGER information: for as long as you remain subscribed or hold RAGER access, and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for legal or record-keeping reasons, including keeping a record of your opt-out. • Analytics data: 365 days. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us.

10. Your Rights Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to: • access the personal information we hold about you; • have inaccurate information corrected; • have your information deleted, or its use restricted; • receive a copy of your information in a portable format; • object to our use of your information, including for direct marketing; and • withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

11. Security We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Members-only areas are protected by access controls, but no system is completely secure, so please keep your access credentials safe.

12. Changes and Contact We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and the latest version will always be published on the Site with its “last updated” date. If you have any questions, requests or concerns about your privacy, please contact us through the social channels linked in the Site footer.
